I went with the P4S533 because of the PC2700DDR. Running a 133 fsb with PC2100 DDR is like cutting a leg off a horse. Sure it will run but not as fast. ;)
Is anyone using the standard heatsink and fan combo with the P4 1.6A Retail CPU while overclocking? Does it work good and also did you add any thermal compound or just used the one on the heatsink? Thanks in advance.
Cool thanks for the reply. Also should I get a special CPU cooler or can I use the one that comes with the retail P4? Is it bad if I don't use Artic Silver on the heatsink also? Sorry for so many questions, I'm kind of new to the whole overclocking thing. :)
I also purchased a P4S533 along with a P4 1.6A and Corsair XMS2700c2 (DDR333) memory. If I want to overclock my P4 on this motherboard what core voltage should I use? Also, any other advice would be good. :)
