when i had the explorer, i made the big button(thumb) load up windows explorer, my biggest problem is when i played online games, i would press that button by accident and it would bring me out of the game and bring up windows explorer, bad bad bad!

Penalty, ya its OEM so no software, but like you said no biggie, just DL from microsoft. plus the software that usually comes with on the CD is outdated, and the newer updated version you can just dl from the website. kudos!

Which mobo best for O/Cing a Slot 1

Hmm thanks for the input guys, I'll see if I can still find the Asus P3B-F. I don't see many slot 1's being sold anymore. Now I'm kinda debating if I should waste the money on this "old" mobo and revive the 600mhz cpu, and just go all out and get a new cpu and mobo.. ha! decisions decisions......

7Hours is awesome time for completing a seti unit.. now if you really want to cut the time almost in half, turn screen saver to "blank screen". You WILL notice the speed difference. Graphics is what's slowing down the process, disable graphics will free up the system to do more, faster.
