because you using a different DNS aserver as the exchange itself may have yourefer to exchange as a user coming from outside the domain thefore asking you for user and password
i hope this makes sense
take my word for it
if you have another DNS server than the actual exchange used on your workstation
it will happen again
you should take a minute to check it out
it hsould be accessed from the active directory which is integrated with exchange...
a way that usualkly fixes your problem
make sure that the exchange server on your network is your ONLY DNS server on your box
