I went with AT&T's Unlimited plan. $20/mo. for unlimited calls to other AT&T customers. If they are not AT&T then it's the same $0.07/minute.
I found this to be the best plan since the vast majority of calls are to my...*cough*...mom. Sicne she also has AT&T my bills went from $70/mo. to $20/mo...
I have to agree with most threads here.
I have gotten all my rebates, except for my special $80 Western Digital. That was because the terms of WD rebates is absolute crap. 1) Have to purchase it within a certain time, 2) Have to send it within a certain time, 3) Have to be received at certain...
WHAT!? Sarasota's famous!
Jerry Springer, Bette Midler's parents, and Arnold Swartzenegger all maintain residences there!
(heh...podunk beach town with uppity residents)
Probably. It's either a Lite-On or a Verbatim (which is itself a rebadged Lite-On).
Either can be made in to full fledged Lite-Ons.
I converted my Verbatim to a Lite-On with 2 easy steps and 2 reboots.
I live in Dallas Texas. We have a full 4 seasons.
Spring = 2 weeks of bliss, followed by lots of rain.
Summer = 6 months of blistering sunburning polluted hell.
Fall = (see Spring)
Winter = 2 months of coldness and 1 of ice storms (no snow).
Big Olaf's ice cream? ;P
I agree though. I grew up in Sarasota and my parents currently live there.
Aside from about 2 days worth, there's nothing much to do. Sailing and the beaches are good, with a few decent restaurants around, but that's it.

Yeah, I have just figured out how to get a MS FF Wheel for $54.99 shipped.
I'm still debating with myself whether to get one or not. *sigh*...if only I had unlimited money...
emetic

The only free T I have ever gotten is one I never requested.
When I upgraded my old P-166 to an AMD K6-2 400, if you remember there was a bug in Win95 with all K6-2's over 300 MHz. As a result AMD was handing out free Win98 upgrades upon valid proof of purchase.
So in the box with a retail...
Unfair assesment, but lets just say with my Athlon 1G and Radeon 8500, the leaked demo looks damn good. Runs "well" even without the latest performance tweaks and extra physics.
w00t!
I've been playing single player UT2003 leaked demo for a while. And although it's definitely beat stage in the leak, it runs decently, looks top notch, and is fun to play.
Basically so far, if you liked the original UT, think of this one with updated graphics, weapon balance, AI...
Nope. I also ordered a few other things (mainly David Brin books).
Besides, the offer may have changed in the past 3 months that I had ordered it. However, I did just find that B&N is having a $10 off $50 coupon? www.spoofee.com
I cancelled my order about 3 weeks of "hanging on" with Outpost. I went to Barnes and Noble online (www.bn.com) and they had it for $99 + free shipping. With Outpost it was $97 after shipping and tax.
And I've already enjoyed the series twice.
Me too. Seems to save cost and shelf space. I would actually prefer if they started coming in DVD cases like console games, BUT considering the vast majority of software still comes in the standard CD case...I doubt that will happen.
And I did the same thing...ripped open the box, dug out the...
I'll keep mine here and save the $20. The only thing lacking I can see is Mt. Rainier support. And lately it seems doubtful that it will catch on before mass-market DVD+RW etc drives are standard.
I just got mine delivered today along with my new CenDyne 32x12x40x drive.
