Fx5200 or 9800pro?

does cheap = crap?

from www.dictionary.com So the term "cheap" means both low cost and of poor quality. I buy a lot of inexpensive computer hardware, but never anything "cheap." For example Epox motherboards, Buffalo memory or even AMD XP1700+ CPU's. They are all relatively inexpensive, but none are cheap...

SATA Drive BATTLE! You decide....

First, good question, I wish I knew the answer as well. Second, with RAID0 your OS sees the drives as 1 drive so it's not like having a C: and D: Third, if you wanted to partition the drives into c: d: e: f: or whatever, you could do it just as easily with two drives as with one in a RAID array.

If you're a n00b what you really don't want to do is fly the air-planes. What a total PITA that is. My advice: learn how to use a tank. This is a great game and there are tons of crappy players out there (myself included). I bought this on Monday for $40

absolutely ;) 8RDA3+ and XP1700 @2.1GHz works just fine. Not one bit of instability... great system. It is kinda sad that my heatsink (without fan mind you) was more expensive than my CPU. CPU: $42. Thermalright SLK900U: $52.

What Linux Rules

I got Suse 8.0 today and I'm going to give that a try. I have tried RedHat before and it drove me nuts. I dunno why I uninstalled Mandrake, it was really easy to set up. I'm going to give Suse a try then Mandrake if that sucks. linuxnewbie.org is great, thanks for the linkage :)

I had this same issue with my IT7 Max when I installed XP SP1 & the Abit USB drivers. You can find the fix on Abit's site in the FAQ or do like I did and just format the hdd array and don't install the Abit driver. A legacy free motherboard wasn't quite a great idea... I had to spend $20 on a...

Samsung PC2700 Memory CTL vs DTL

Recently I have heard that there is a difference in over-clocking the newest modules of Samsung PC2700 memory. If you look on the label on the memory module you will see a part number and in it there are three characters DTL & CTL. There may be reason to believe that one of these modules...
