I dunno! But thanks for helping me make the decision between the using the Audigy or the SantaCruz. People are telling me there are problems with Audigy drivers, especially with Win XP. See my thread ( which is best: Audigy Gamer or Turltle Beach SantaCruz). I got this response from moderator...
:D Thanks Dudes! I'm leaning toward using the Santa Cruz now. Reviews I have read favor the SC for music fidelity and range, however the Audigy does have more for gaming environment.....and a firewire port, which I could live without. I do want the best for MIDI reproduction and best...
I have purchased both the Audigy Gamer and Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound cards. I am installing one in my new rig and installing one in my old pc that I am giving to my Brother. . I will be using my machine for gaming, dvd/cd playback, and midi music creation/playback. Which one is best for me...
Trash the mini-case and pick up a mid-tower with at least a 350w PSU. Gives you more room for upgrades too. I got great bargains on cases with PSU at www.directron.com!

I'd go with the 95f. I was looking at one in BBuy the other day and it looked great. I also liked the "bright boost" feature, good for boosting bright and color on some DVD's and games.
Idunno, I've been reading reviews in all the "mags" hyping the Audigy. I guess it depends on who pays the most in advertising $$$ gets the best reviews! Could it be a conspiracy???? HA!
Definitely get a bigger p/s, and why not get a fast DVD drive instead of the cd/rom. They are pretty cheap and with the hercules card you'll be able to watch DVD's in 5.1 surround!

[I am considering buying a Maxtor 80 gb ultra 133 HD or a WD 80 gb ultra 100 HD. My MOBO supports the 133 but the WD drive is $30 cheaper. Would I really get better performance from the 133 Maxtor , is it worth paying more?
