I read a review on a certain website that described a problem they called "texture shimmering." While it was a problem on both cards they noticed it much more on the 7900. I read that part of the review twice and I still don't understand what texture shimmering is. Can anyone hepl me out?
From the information I have gathered, would could be incorrect, the 1900XT/XTX has better performance in high resolution AA and some performance advantages concerning high levels of shaders. Yet the 1900's are noisier and hotter than the 7900's.
Would I be making a good choice water cooling...
The biggest difference in my mind is the heat and noise, which nvidia has less of.
If I use a watercooling solution for the 1900XT will I have the best of both worlds?
Would you be interested in buying that for me and shipping it out? Obviously I would pay for shipping. The only problem is the mutual trust. I am very serious about this offer.
Hahaha, that review reminds me of when VIA released their Hyperion 4in1s.

That is insane.. I have the same motherboard as you, with Corsair XMS PC3200c2 and my 0307 Tbred B arrives tomarrow. I'm on watercooling which gave a 2000XP Palomino 31c idle. I can't wait to see my results..
I heard it whines if you put the voltages on too low. Or something like that. That is bad, bad. Isn't the whole point of lower voltage to reduce noise?
I've been looking at various stores that sell desks and I haven't been too impressed by what I see. I figured that if I saw a desk I really, really liked, I would be happy to spend extra on shipping and order one online.
Are there any desks out there that have some nifty features? Or just look...
I noticed that too. All they are doing is playing with pictures. It's great that they give a tiny tiny increase in performance, but they act like this is the Geforce FX of via4in1s.
I have a similiar question.. mine is a green AGOIA. I forgot to look at the week it is made. I can't overclock it at all without instability. Are green XP2000 AGOIAs bad?
I have an Athlon XP2000 on an epox 8k3a. My room temperature is about 22c, and my CPU is 50c idle and 58c load. I have an Alpha PAL8045 with a Panaflo L1A on it. My case is an Antec 1080 (good case) with 5 Panaflo L1As inside of it.
I see people with this same setup brag about temperatures...
I'm about to get a Swiftech Quiet Power, and the waterblock uses the 4 mounting holes around the CPU. In case I wanted to upgrade later to a Hammer + motherboard, will they have the same 4 mounting holes?

I have a GF4 Ti4400 and upgraded to these drivers from 30.82. They are a little faster, but I can't really tell if the graphic quality is worse. Does anyone know if these drivers just lowered quality for performance?
People just froth at the mouths when video cards are mentioned. I don't understand why. You people bitch about hype, yet you are all doing exactly what they expect you to.
I'm getting a water cooled case, and I wanted to add a block on the GPU. However the Leadtek has a rather unique heatsink, is it possible to water cool it and making sure the RAM is cooled, or is it not possible with this card?
I'm running Windows XP with a GF4 Leadtek Ti4400. I want to change my gamma and contrast a little in the color correction tab. I click on apply on startup and then save. When I reboot, 10 seconds after it reverts to default. How can I make it stop doing this? It is driving me crazy. I am not...
The front is completely open and not obstructed.
Update: I removed the top back panel, and it has improved overall temperatures by 3c. Now I'm at an average of 28c system and 49c cpu temp.
I wonder what my next step should be. I guess removing the case from this compartment would help, but I...
Thanks. I'm having nothing to do this summer, and I'm trying to overclock (I can't go past 136fsb). It gives me something to do and occupies myself, at least.
One thing that may be of note is my desk has a compartment for the PC. The rear exhaust fans are being blown onto the wooden back part...
