How to unlock Pipelines and Vertex Shader on a 6800 (nu/le/gs)

Sorry, I should've been a bit more clear. What I meant to ask is, are there cases where voltmod and/or command line (after RivaTuner 15.7 came out) would "fix" pipelines that were previously causing artifacts?

xp 1800+ running at 61C idle... suggestions?

for some reason my xp runs really hot. it uses the stock heatsink/fan and uses an Aopen case /w 250watts PSU. i runs my computer almost 24/7. the lowest temp i've seen is when i let the computer off for like several hours, then it'll be @ ~41c when starting up. i am thinking about buying 3 fans...

thanks for the help guys. it turns out that i fried not only the cpu, but also mobo and memory. i had to buy everything over and it finally works now. this is a rather expensive lesson i learned ($226 to be exact), and i'll be extra careful if i ever build a computer again.

IMHO what you said makes really good sense. but f it all works like that though, shouldnt you just get a ti420 in th beginning so you could probably enjoy it for 3 years instead of 1 year on each card?
