    It's a very decent car. I test drove one awhile back and liked it, but wished it had a 6spd manual. Its competition would likely be the Mazda3 hatch, Toyota Matrix, VW Golf/Rabbit, Suzuki SX4 and Subaru Impreza hatch. None of those, similarly spec'ed, are particularly great fuel sippers.
