YMMV! Just went to the local Target store in Gainesville FL. 4 x $10 is good, but no gift card. Store flyer doesn't mention it and the manager says she didn't know anything about it. Still a good price without the gift card.

No one seems to have mentioned SpyCatcher (Tenebril) Free express version picked up 4 baddies on deep scan. Keyloggers, backdoors, adware. Had used Ad Aware, Spybot, SpywareBlaster and MS Defender, all had missed these. Runs in background like Defender. Make sure you uninstall Defender...

Explorer.exe service cycles cpu at idle

I have a 3 year old Dell desktop running win XP pro sevice pack 2. When I start windows task manager with nothing else running, I get cpu useage cycling from 0 to 10-25%. I have gone into services and turned off each service one at a time, no change. I've checked for viruses, rootkits...

I have a Win XP pro machine and a Win 98SE machine networked by crossover cable. Both machines have the latest Microsoft updates. The XP machine sees the 98SE machine and can perform any network function. The problem is with the 98SE machine. File explorer sees the XP machine, but if I try to...

Got the burner yesterday, installed it this morning. Plugged right in with XP Pro, no issues. Burned my first "backup" DVD. Did 4X on TDK media without a hitch. Quiet drive, works great!:D

The Target in Gainesville Fl won't give Lullaby Club packets to anyone except pregnant mothers. My wife said she was the grandmother and they wouldn't give her a packet. I quess you have to tell them you are pregnant (young Anandtech ladies), or send in a young lady to pick up this packet.;)

Scored a 120GB drive in Gainesville Fl yesterday. Opened box this morning, enclosed was a 8 meg SE drive! "Added Bonus, You Have Received A Higher Performance Hard Drive At No Extra Cost" Woohoo!:Q Had to ask for it, the shelf was empty. Salesman went to back and brought one out.

Yesterday the 4 rebates went to "you should receive your rebate soon..." Today the Early Bird rebate finally showed up on rebatestatus.com, just in the "We have received your submission..." mode now. Probably be rejected in a few days. I will wait till all the rebates they plan to send me...

After seeing all the complaints about Dell rebates (not just the 11-26 fiasco), I would think long and hard before I purchased a Dell product advertising a rebate. Unless, you don't care if you get the rebate, or have to monitor it's progress constantly, send copies of the rebate repeatedly...

Check out this link to the Dell general discussion forum. Link It seems the 11-26 deal is not the only one people are not getting rebates for. From the discussions there, it looks like a common problem with Dell rebates in general. Same run around, same "lost" rebates, same Dell shoddy...
