....championship hats and t-shirts of the loosing teams in the superbowl. they have to have the merchandise made up for both teams. It would be nice to get a hold of some of the " NY Giants - 2001 superbowl champions".

why does hardware cost more in Canada than U.S??

I find after exchange rate and taxes the hardware is about 5% more which can add up. I live in ontarion and buy my hardware from inside canada but out of province to dodge the pst.

@home giving away extra ip's for free.

yeah i tried "borrowing" extra ip's from them for a while but i decided thatr it wasnt worth saving the $10/month because i would sometimes have problems getting the second pc on the net. like there isnt enough people already ripping off the cable company.

@home giving away extra ip's for free.

i get cable internet through cogeco @home and i lease an additional ip from them. Recently i noticed that they have not been billing me for the extra ip and i noticed on the side of my invoice they advertised that they give up to 3 ip's per account now...at no extra cost. Anyone else heard about...

Crimping tool necessary for terminating RJ45 cables?

how hard is it to make crimp on your own rj-45 ends?...also one other dumb question, when one says "terminating", is that another term for crimping a jack on the end?

Should i upgrade to 3.03 now?

as far as i know it isnt mandatory cuz i am still using cli 3.0 but should i upgrade to 3.03 for the better of science?.....i hear it causes the Wu times to go up by 50%? thats crazy, it makes some people to look more at rc5

Do you think Dell systems are really "THAT" good....

Are there any free "soft" dvd players like PowerDVD?

you can get the trial version of PowerDVD for free, but it only allows you to watch about 10 minutes or so, but i am sure that someone has a way around that:)

PS2 DVD playback... is there such a thing as a DVD movie that isn't compatible?

i have yet to see a dvd player not skip or studder while switching layers, its got to be that. try the dvd disc in another dvd if you can.

ASUS A7V CPU temp issue?

dont worry about it, i thinki the reading is wrong, i have the exact same board and cpu with an alpha pal6035 with a delta fan and i get temps up to 53c under full load, and thats with a modded case with a bunch of extra case fans.....before i turned on the extra fans, my pc ran at 64c under...

?!!!!Case Customizing Questions!!!!?

i have one tip for face plate painting.......open any cd rom drives and slide the tray bezel of first , this isnt for all cd roms but it applies to some, if you dont try this, when you pull off the actual drive face plate off, it might damage the tray...i speak from experience, thank god it was...

Possible alternative to new pc speakers.

i think Mday means that if you want your Stereo (cd player) to output to your computer speakers (if you were not outptuting the sound to the stereo) then you can do this via connecting a cable from the mic jack on the stereo to the line in and to your speakers through the line out....i could be...

what part of your computer has caused you the "biggest" headache?

Its got to be hard drives, i have had countless bad experiences with WD in particular.....now i stick to IBM and Maxtor.
