Thx for the reply JackMDS
I wish thats what i needed have found lots of those in searching google, what i need is the opposite. A cable that will take my 6 pin pci-express connector and give me a 4 pin molex.
Thx for your reply Wentelteerfje. The power supply i have isn't modular heres a link to it. http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=22550
I kind of wished i had bought the modular one in retrospect, it gives me more options, but my local store only had the neo 480 modular. I needed...
Is there such a thing as a 6 pin PCI express connector to 4 pin molex.
Hi, I have a P4 3.0 oc 3.4 northwood and a 6800 ultra AGP, 5 hard drives and other accesories. Recently i bought a new Power supply, Antec 550W TP2. Problem is they only give you four molex connecters, i had to use two...
I would go with the PSP and a large memeory card(1 gig like the other person suggested).
With the PSP you can watch DIVX/XVID if you hack it. But the best part is if you get bored watching shows you can play video games on it, also put emulators on it like SNES, NES etc.. and you can even use...
If you do buy the dell, see how much it costs to upgrade the Video Card, maybe 7800GT. That vanilla 6800 won't cut it for future games and it looks by your other post that video games is what you want this system for the most.

This link has more pictures of the Walkman, the screen is cool, but i don't really like the rest of the styling.
People should have to take IQ test before they could post on the forums. That way morons like him could be prevented from posting. Slot's IQ falls around the 70-80 area (Mentally Deficient).
Well i have an Antec True 430 Watt power supply just like the poster, i am running:
P4 3GHz oced 3.3GHz. (Northwood)
1 GB PC3500 LL Corsair memory
9700 Pro AIW (Oced as well)
4 Hard drives (sometimes i run 5 HD's when backing up data)
2 Optical drives
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Platinum
4...
Hi, I have the Antec True430W, and i have 4 HD's running, 2 optical drives, 9700 Pro AIW, a cold cathode, 4 case fans, P4 northwod 3.0 oced to 3.3. I have run it with 5 hd's occasionnaly and didn't notice a problem there either.
The Senheiser HD 595 are a better choice if you don't want an AMP. If you want to save some monet the HD 555 are almost the same not big difference. The HD 595 sound amazing from my Audigy 2(no AMP),
BTW obviously they will sound better with an amp but unlike the 580 they sound good...
I had a similar problem in was my memory. Download memrest86+ at (www.memtest.org).
Also go to your Hard Drives manufacturer website and download the Diagnostic software and check your hard drive.
You are completely wrong, there is no one (who isn't a fanboy) who would agree with you that Gamecube has better garphics than an Xbox.
Saying that the graphics of a Gamecube are pretty close to the Xboxes, but Graphicas are not the reason to buy a console in the first place, games are...
Wow that is odd, especially since they replaced the keyboard. I wonder if it is a software problem? Maybe try rebuilding your machine with the included build CD's from Dell.
Also with my Audigy 2, i believe i had to mute both line ins and microphone in two, can't remember.
I have the Klipsh Promedia 4.1 speakers, and i did hear hiss coming out of them till i turned of the line-ins of my sound card. Now its absolutely quiet.
When i buy hard drives, I usually look at price and warranty(and recenlty noise). I usually don't care about manufacturer, anything from Seagate, WD, Maxtor, Hitachi is fine by me. (Although i must admit i am turning into a Seagate fanboy cause of there quiet drives and five year warranty)...
This sounds like a domestic dispute, you need to calmy discuss your problem the optical drive. If that does not help, i suggest getting a shovel and taking it for a drive in the country!
PS Rememeber if you are too lenient with this component, it will only encourage the rest of your PC to...
Did you try looking for ATI Drivers at there website? "ati.com". If you couldn't find the drivers for your video card, maybe you shouldn't be giving advice.
Here is a link to Tom's VGA charts that includes the 9700 Pro(Identical to AIW) and the 9600XT. As you can see by the benchmarks the 9700 beats the 9600XT handily in all the benchmarks. Even though the 9600XT has the higher clock the 9700 Pro has double the pipelines...
You need to RMA the board i had the exact same problem with the exact same board(well almost same board A7N8X DLX-E). Luckily i happened to me within a week of purchase and i was able to exchange it.
Not sure what causes the problem or what the problem is exactly, but since we both have had...
Read these instructions on how to apply Heatsink compound properly, and i suggest buying decent Compound like AS, especially if you overclock. You paid for 2700+ so you should put it at 166 MHz FSB, and see about reducing temps. If there is a pad on the heatsink clean in it off with Nail polish...
I have the same Power Supply (Antec 430) and am currently running:
P4 3.0 GHz C
Asus P4C800E
2X512MB
CD-RW
DVD+/-RW
Floppy
4 case fans all running on the 4 pin molex like your machine
2 Seagate 120 GB HD's (serial-ATA in a RAID 0)
1 Seagate 120 GB (PATA)
1 Maxtor 60 GB (PATA)
ATI 9700 Pro...
