I never had a problem with the response times. .. in fact, I know that model M keyboards are known for their great ability to handle n-key rollover (ability to hold down say 4 keys at once, and have keyboard register them as simultaneous input and having all four keys appear as output)...

Do the Dell cases conform to the ATX standard?

Dell definitely has a different powersupply pin-out spec than standard ATX. I once saw a special adapter that you could get to convert from Dell powersupply to standard pinouts. ..but it would probably be better/easier to just replace the Dell powersupply and MB with a standard ATX one when...

Aluminium Case: need some advice and opinions

Both are great cases.. both have removable motherboard trays and front USB ..in terms of price, both are about the same $165. I would go with the Coolermaster. ATC 201 has better looks than the PC68.

Leaving the 1st PCI slot decreases noise!

Another which case question :( (but please answer!!!)

From your three choices, I would go with the Chieftec DH-01W/Antec 630 clone. Good construction and features. ..I'm not sure about the Deer powersupply, but it's probably not any worse than the one in the Enlight or Evercase.

Battle of the cases! Which case?

Go for the steel Antec one. Aluminum Chieftec would be cool.. but the front face-plate is still plastic. I think I also read somewhere that steel cases are less prone to vibration than aluminium

Well Lian-Li PC7 Hold?

PC7 is the same size as PC60 and PC65. (Major difference is PC7 is made of steel and PC60 & 65 are all aluminum) If you can find other sites which have used watercooling with these other 2 cases, you should be ok with PC7.

You *can* get custom-made clear plexi panels with bevelled edges at http://www.clear-viewtech.com/panels.html. Just send them the exact dimensions of what you need. I've bought a full plexi case from them and was satisifed with design and workmanship.

SMOKING! Logitech Z340 Speakers @ Staples - $15!

Nice compact speakers. My complaints 1) cable between the left and right speaker is just long enough.. but may be too short for some 2) subwoofer puts out too much bass by default. Almost have my subwoofer turned down to 10% of max.

I thought that Coolermaster 710 was going to be a great case.. but since reading additional reviews, it just seems to be an Antec 1000 series case with an aluminum front face plate. (only front is aluminum, most of case is still steel). That said, the Antec 1000 series does have good cooling...

Best bang for the buck? [mod--pls move to gen hardware]

I think it depends on what kind of games you play (FPS vs. RTS). If you are looking for more frames per second, then first upgrade your videocard to a GF4-level card. Although since you already have a GF2 GTS, you probably should just get a new 1.5Ghz CPU + AMD motherboard.

Not a hot deal, about amazon gold box

Why not post? I saw the threads on the cheap D-40 digital camera. Didn't get it in my goldbox.. but the next offer was a handheld/automotive Garmin GPS that I was also interested in and got a great deal. -$234 in additional savings. One good deal lead to another.
