i have an abit it7 with 6 IDE slots - for a total for 8 ATA133 + 4 ATA 100 slots.
i dont really need the ata card and plan to sell the card on fleabay to make $25+ more making this a...

OK - this worked for me!!! :D
I downloaded usb2.0.exe off the website and installed it at home.
Its an Installshield packaged setup that setups the Intel USB 2.0 drivers and after restarting my machine everything works perfect!!!

I downloaded the drivers off the website (see below) and sucessfully set it up on my home system.
Everything works just fine now...the Windows XP errors I used to get are gone and the USB Controller shows up just fine in...
