    That's the reason I was asking. I did a search under the CPU section for duo and 478 on pricewatch and from reading the descriptions, it appears that there were S478 duos. The Search So the fastest available processor for a S478 board is a 3.4, correct?

    Well, after some troubleshooting it appears that I have a bad case. I have an older one with a 16 gig HD in it, and swapped the drives. Both drives work fine in the older case(same type, no power cords), and neither works in the new one. Guess Its RMA time.
