Yeah, in addition, that 12.00 hour is just initial pay. Based on job performance and experience, the hourly wage does increase. Plenty of promotion opportunities, too. At any rate, just wanted to toss all this out here for interest!

Is Vista able to scale the entire interface for different resolutions?

Vista doesn't have resolution independence from my experience. The next release of OS X (10.5) is due to include it last I heard.

best mini pci wireless network card?

Did you check and make sure the antenna are making a good connection to the card? Most miniPCI cards don't have large transmit power differences between them.

Try to MAC INTEL With Linux

Yeah...the highest MacPro is a dual-chip, dual-core board, making 4 total cores. There have been many articles on upgrading those 2 chips with 2 clovertowns, making 8 total cores. Really nice that it can be done, although a trife bit expensive for my taste ;)

Bingo Nothinman; From my research, you can run a 64-bit linux via Bootcamp, although it's technically not supported and has some problems. The CPU & RAM upgrade is the only thing that will definitely work without any problems whatsoever.

Just got a macbook...whats up with aim?

Use an alternative IM client such as Adium or Fire; google them up. AOL hasn't updated the AIM client for Mac OSX in a long, long time afaik. I use my AOL screen name in Adium just fine every day, and it looks much, much better than AIM for OSX. As far as your right mouse button issue, go...

9800 Pro installation

Having "extra" molex hookups from the power supply used to be relatively rare depending on how many devices you have. These days, there tends to be more available molex connections straight from the power supply, so you would be perfectly fine hooking up your R9800 straight to the power supply...

Mechassault 2, did anyone here buy it?

MA2 is good for online play. The single player leaves much to be desired, I feel as if it is more or less training for online play. Theres nothing like jacking another player's Mech and wiping out his/her whole team with it..muhahaha!

Getting a Lappy $1000 Range - R51 a good choice?

You can get an R51 on NewEgg for around $1054 for a celeron-M @ 1.3ghz or a pentium-M @ 1.5ghz for $1199....pretty awesome deals on good quality IBM machines...

I think we need to make a sticky for this... Yes, a Pentium M/Centrino is much faster than the 1.4-1.8 you mentioned...GHZ does not equal speed anymore, even Intel has dropped the GHZ numbering system on the newest Desktop chips...those Centrinos are typically very high performance machines...

Yes, there is and always has been a copy of OSX on the x86 platform. Apple has been developing it alongside their currect Mac editions...I believe it was called project Marklar(sp?). The only way we'll ever see it on x86, however, is if Apple starts tanking, which by their latest earnings...
