Thanks for the reply guys. I might go for the wireless route then. What brand do you guys recommend? Wireless routers require cards right? Also the connection would be stable if the comps were in different rooms?
I can get this and the logitech at roughly the same price (actually the altec comes out cheaper since I won't have to pay for shipping). I'm hoping this is the better speakers to get. I noticed the logitech's are THX certified and the Altec's are not. Does that really matter?
I noticed that my 4g4a only has 3 places to plug in fans (one for case and one for power supply, and cpu fan). Well I have 5 fans that needs to be plugged in and was wondering how you guys did it? 3 to 4pin adapters?
Sorry didn't know where to post this :o
AX-478
Arctic Silver 3
Panaflo L1a
Panaflo H1a
All at once place and cheap! Svcompucycle.com seems to be the best but no Panaflo H1a and their Sunon of almost the same specs is a 4 pin fan :\
Getting all of that (except HS, Mobo) from newegg.com. Got ram for 220$ not the best price im sure but I trust newegg.com and im tired of letting my cpu sit there!
well had my p4 1.6a sitting on my desk for weeks now and finally added everything into my shopping cart.
Here's my final setup
p4 1.6a
AX478 with Sunon Fan (38 cfm)
Chieftec Black Aluminum Workstation tower (with the 420w PSU that comes with it)
Corsair 3000 512mb (better get it quick :(...
Wow great thread! I am planning on getting this board also. Those INF drivers kinda scare me though.. Reminds me of the Via 4-in-1's... DO they improve performance and stuff? What do they do anyways?
I too have been searching for a p4 mobo for my 1.6a. Been reading about all these 845g boards and all of em seem to have mix reviews except for the asus but thats too expensive for me ;). Now whats this thing about the new asus board?
