Complete Removal of 3dfx Drivers

If you search the registry and the hard drive, you WILL turn up all the relevant files and keys that need to be delted to get a clean install. However, if you're still having problems, contact 3dfx tech support. We have an uninstaller app that might help. :)

Problems with NEW 3dfx drivers for the VooDoo 3 video card (just released)

You primarily see that happen if you're running a pre-relase beta of Windows ME. And we did not announce that we were going back to being a chip manufacturer, we simply stated that we would not be manufacturing the actual boards ourselves. :)

3dfx rebate expired, I bought the card a week ago, didn't send in the rebate yet, postmaked on 10/31/00 can I get it????

If you're having problems with your rebate, contact 3dfx tech support. They have some people dedicated to fulfillment and they are currently in the process of following up on some rebate issues.

voodoo2 kills display properties? Help!

Check the card in another system. This could be the result of a hardware level problem. If it doesn't show up in the other system as well, that would be what the problem is.

This is just an observation... no need to reply and I intend to let this thread drop after this post... but I felt I had to point it out. I see people slamming the 6000 because of it's price, and I see the Ultra mentioned, but I don't see any one slamming the Ultra's rather hefty price tag. ;)

voodoo 3 2000 pci problems

Windows is hosed. Go into Safe Mode and try removing all display adapters. Uninstall the tools and let the card be redetected. If that doesn't work, restore a previous registry.

Cases approved by 3dfx that can fit a v5 6000...

Guys... Some things to remember here are that the card is going to be under full size so it should fit in your cases. Yes, it's big, but not overly so. And as for the pictures you are seeing, the articles specify that this is not a production board that you're looking at. :)

V3 refresh rate with Win2k?

Use Windows 2000's native controls and that will do it, just make sure you have the correct monitor installed and don't go through the overclocker.
