The mobo won't work with some older AGP cards, legacy type I think they call them in the manual. I also tried a older 4meg ATI rage 2c and did not get a video output. It worked ok when I put a ATI radeon in it. Check the cd for manual and more details on the AGP slot requirements.

Just a word of caution on the Hi Val or I O Magic rebates, they take forever to get, and you usually have to end up having to call them to get your rebate. If you buy this brand, PLEASE make sure you photocopy all your rebate paperwork.

Eliminate some things by disconneting all the IDE cables off the mobo, and try it with just 1 stick of ram in the first socket. Also remove all your add in cards except the video card. Hopefully something got out of position and is causing your problem and you don't have a bad CPU.

Yes there are USB 1 and USB 2 cables.
Belkin makes them in both versions, The usb 2 version is marked on the package as High Speed-USB2, and lists the transfer rate as 480mbps, 40 times faster than USB 1.1.

Most, if not all, of the Maxtor HD's that are sold under the Compusa box brand come with a 1 year warranty verses the 3 year warranty of the same Maxtor HD. Other than that, the HD's are the same.
