Anyone tried running in opengl mode instead? I would try but got an ATI card. Didn't read through all of it.
Edit system.cfg change r_driver Direct3D9 to r_driver OpenGL
Use seatools or on the drive. You'll have to take the drive out anyways. That is what your returning.

Can you change your vid card settings now? Display advanced settings. If not just go to ATI and download the control panel. It's in the 5.8 driver low speed section
No way you got a crappy refurb omg. Never buy refurbs lessen the chance of a problem. Unless you like buying something someone else thought was broken and returned.
You did press the button on the monitor? Think it's called source so the monitor knows your using DVI and not the analog. If all you had was a blank screen.
If you would've checked the manufacturers website. It says in the specifications GPU/Memory Clock 500/450. It isn't clocked at 500/1000 it is 500/900.

I tried 3d glassed. They work and give meheadaches. Even with high refresh. I had some 3d glasses came with a video card I had. It'll look like the image is floating above the screen with depth.
Have you tried leaving them at default and letting the game set the aa and af instead. I usually do that with games unless the game doesn't have those settings. Then I'll use the display settings.
Yeah look at the lower right corner.

Wizard dude is holding the staff different also. Across on the 350/450 one and straight up and down on the 350/500.
Maybe aggresive timing is activating that hidden setting NV/ATI Speed Up. It sure does sound like it and is not good. More I hear abut MSI the less I'm starting to like them.
Anything that does overclocking without your knowing is bad. You could get stability problems and have no idea the...
I wonder if all nf3 boards has that. WOuld be bad if it just overclocked nvidia cards. Would make it seem nvidia cards work better with an nf3 board than another chipset.
