I think you hit the nail on the head. The item description still had free shipping, but
the internal system changed it.
The rebate is valid for a few more weeks, so maybe I'll have another chance.

Sounds like you're talking about the Wizard model. The Aluminus model seems to be better constructed (removable MB tray, quick release hard drives, not sure about the knockouts).

CompUSA has a deal for a Mad Dog SurePower 350 Watt PS @ $10 after $35 mail in rebate.
I tried finding the specs for it (amps on the 12, 3.3, and 5V lines) but couldn't.

EDIT: Interesting, there seem to be two rebates for this phone($30 and $9). Unfortunately both say they require original documentation...couldn't hurt to try sending copies for the $9 rebate. ;)

well, I have a digital subscription to pc mag. it's not bad. each mag is about 15mb or so to download.
takes about an hour on dialup.
I think it might be easier for me to read the print magazine rather than the digital on a monitor.

I am surprised though. For Win 2K for example, it has SP4, IE6SP1 and one other critical update.
