XP Visual Style Pains

For the longest time I have been using 3rd Party Visual Styles on my XP Pro box with Service Pack 1. In the past I used the UXTHEME Patch program from the guys who make StyleXP. Well for some reason Windows Updates made me install Service Pack 1 again and now I can't seem to find a working link...

Windows XP Networked Drives don't reconnect

Have several Windows XP systems on a workgroup who all map to server drives on a Windows NT server. Win98 systems have no problems reconnecting at logon. However, XP systems will load up and then not reconnect, and yes the reconnect at logon thing was checked. All you have to do to reconnect...

Cisco CCNA exam question

Who in their right minds would attempt to calculate IP addresses in the real world without calculators, first off the company isn't paying you to be a calculator and it takes longer, not to mention the waste of paper and margin for error. Cisco (the company) is a bunch of morons.

freeware app that limits program usage?

Just find the program files for the games, move them to another folder, then when you return or before the machines are audited, move them back. Renaming would work also.

Weird problem... VERY weird, in fact...

Oh, hey, have you tried running Repair using the Windows CD. That reinstalls major system files while leaving your settings, programs, drivers intact. That might work!

dumb question but how do I delete the "links" folder in favorites?
