What first world problem did you have today?

First world problem: just signed on to Anadtech Forum to do some Buy Sell Trade only to realize they implemented a 25-post minimum requirement.... 6 years ago! Long time lurker can't get used goodies anymore. Anyways, +1 more post. EDIT: Guess I'm at 25 now!

Why HTPC?

Pro: Rip all your CDs/DVDs to disk and have it as media server. Makes it easy to play movies whenever you want, wherever you want all over your house or to copy onto portable devices.

how does one access the for sale section

I hate these XX-post minimums. I've used the For Sale forum for many years - but have posted only seldom. I return after a hiatus, and find that I do not have access. Quite annoying.

Changing drive Letters

Thats cool, never noticed that before. Though, it will not let me change the system drive lettering around. I really don't want to have to write a program to do this but its looking like that might be easiest... Thanks though, Kevin

Heyas! Quick question, hopefully will get a short quick answer. Is there an easy way to change the drive letters that I have my OS (XP) installed on? Its currently installed to F: and I would like to switch it with my C: drive. Is there a nice program out there that'll search and replace...

Finding variety of Water Cooling system

I actually thought about doing this too, taking a stock heatsink, and turning it into a water block. I ran into a few problems when I tried to actually do this. The bonds betweeen the tubing and the heatsink were to weak and leaked. And I couldn't create a strong clip that held the water...

Need help wtih Acrylic.

Hiyas. I'm getting my hands into working with acrylic. My next project is to make a water resevour out of cut acylic panels. Only concern is how to join them together. I forget where I've read it but some say that you can dissolve acrylic in either acetone or formaldayde. Only problem is...
