I do have to admit this is probably the best game from a fun to cost ratio. I am really excited to purchase this. Hopefully it will be on Steam right away.
I am entertaining the idea of a "HTPC" of sorts for a project.
Needs/Wants:
-Watch Flash based videos from a browser on older TVs (sites like cucirca, tubeme, etc)
-Occasionally watch DVD/Blu-Ray rips
-Analog video out for older TVs laying around
-Analog audio out (RCA preferred)
-Wifi...
Picked one up today. Normally don't like Pizza Hut but for $5.55 it cost about the same as a Big Mac meal and will feed me for a couple days.
Pizza is not as greasy as it used to be.
Gots me 1/2 cheese, 1/2 bacon & pineapple.
We had one confirmed touchdown where I live in Ohio (between Toledo and Columbus).
I think they overhyped it this year because they got a ton of flak last year for not giving people enough warning.
Do you live near a Microcenter? (www.microcenter.com)
You can pick up 3570k with mobo for under $250. Maybe less depending on the sales.
I too jumped shark this year from e5300 to the 3570k. I am not even messing with OC'ing until it deems necessary.
If you were in the US I could help you locate one.
Google "crossbow" or "ACK-I5363" to find the part. I tried emailing Xigmatek about one but they never responded.
I worked at a local Hut and half the toppings were on the floor, I swear! They are OCD about the amount of oil on pans though. The oil is why I no longer eat there.
The only time I know of less toppings is when someone ordered a deluxe pizza special. It was more for the fact that all the...
I'm so hipster. I played this game when it first came out and gave up when I got stuck on a level in the 60's. Nobody else I knew was playing it so I could get no help.
I started playing it again last week when I saw half of my FB friends were on now.
The whole luck vs skill thing drives...
I usually wear a suit. I just always (as a guy) feel overdressed when I see women just wear casual clothing into an interview or work.
Don't get me started on guys "business" attire vs women's "business" attire. lol
Of course I don't encourage throwaway or waste. I try to teach my child to respect others and respect everything in general.
I have been teaching her how to use it properly. I also bought a cheap tablet to test the waters for future better tablet purchases. Sort of a testing of the waters...
As a spin off of this thread...

Help me prepare for future possible interviews. As a quiet, behind the scenes workhorse I have problems selling myself to potential employers. I am outgoing once I know you but shy and introverted...
I am a terrible interviewer. Call me a nerd but I am taking notes from this thread for future reference.
For my current position my admin said I am terrible at selling myself but knew my work ethic and style from talking with my coworkers and boss (position in same building) and hired me...
My tablet (cheapo) came with Parental Control built in (Ice Cream Sandwich).
I also downloaded software that does it also. I will have to wait to get home and check.
It is nice in that it is password protected and you choose what programs, files, videos, etc your child can use.
Found it...
I guess I will be the devil's advocate. It depends on what you want it for.
I "got it for my child" instead of buying a portable DVD player. Not that brand though. I got a $70 Agptek (sp?) and I rip my daughter's DVDs and put them on there for car rides to the in laws. It also allows me to...
I was wondering the same thing. I hope they are not pulling a Valve on us here...
Defense Grid is my favorite game in a long time. Other games I may play once or twice but I can always pick this game up and have an enjoyable time repeatedly.
I just got Containment a few weeks ago. I...
Trimming is too much work. My hair there is too thin for a trimmer.
About once every two months I use a razor and take it off. It helps keep the stink out.
All Minwax poly urethane has a rebate right now. So it is not just the spar version.
I also have a coupon for Lowes for $10 off of $50. So I may pick up a few other things as well.
You are welcome...

Curiosity got the best of me because I never had one of these hexagon taco pizza contraptions.
I was strictly an Opera user for years. I got fed up with some issues I was having. I was already dabbling in Chrome so I continued to use it. I have never really liked Firefox.
My progress was..
IE->Firefox->Safari (had iBook for a while)->Firefox->Opera->Chrome
I saw that stuff. There is a mail in rebate right now for it too. I was just wondering if it was overkill for my project.
I do not think it will be soaked in water. It will sit next to a sink and may get splashed on though.
Local stores do not have teak. I thought about it but did not see any and also did not want to spend too much on a simple project.
The cedar appears to be a young cedar or white cedar. It is lighter in color.
Doesn't oil poly smell for ages?
The suggestions I have seen online vary from...
Also...Obama's admin changed the food regs (of course) and it required the pizza to be changed from normal "white" dough to some kind of wheat/whole grain dough which changes the flavor quite a bit.
I lived for the pizza squares and the salad with vinegarette!
In fact..I go to my wife's work (school teacher) just to have the pizza lunch every once in a while.
I do not like seafood at all. Add in the fact hot anchovies small like dirty cooter..bleck!
I used to deliver pizza and there was an old woman who would always order the same thing....extra anchovy pizza and a 2L of Pepsi.
The drivers all tried to find a way to pass the buck. It did not...
I am just beginning to dabble in playing with wood (*chuckles*) and I have a question.
For a present I am making a side table that will be in a bathroom. I am going for a rustic look with the table top and shelves. I bought some cedar and I am going to sand it down a little.
My question...
My problem with movies being long is taking the time to actually sit down and watch it.
Between work, home, and family things I do not have a spare 3 hours to just sit freely and watch a movie.
I borrowed The Hobbit from my dad but I have to plan out when I am going to watch it since it is...
I suggest this company for wiring... http://www.knukonceptz.com/
Pioneer are decent sound speakers for the money. I can't comment on the amp or sub though.
