If you look under control pannel/administrative tools/computer management/device manager/ you should see "scsi/raid controlers listed." click on it and update the drivers using your floppy of whereever you store them.
Now go to computer management/disk management and you should see the sata...
Well i guess you deserve some kind of compensation for having to go to class on south campus with all the other math and science majors. North campus is where its at! Dont feel bad im sure south campus at ucla is still better than most every other campus.

Thank you for the post. I am going to go check it out this weekend. I was wondering how to identify what kind of ram you are getting i.e. samsung, spectek. ect. I dont think i have ever examined a PNY box. If it clearly says the brand please forgive my ignorance.
