Case suggestions?

Opinions, need a new gaming rig

Ok my current build is ~ 3 years old: ASUS P4T533-C, P4 2.53 GHz, 512 MB, Radeon 9800 XT, audigy soundblaster. If it weren't for the RAMBUS (Intel announced that they were no longer going to support it a few months after I built this machine - ARGH!) I would probably just upgrade this box...

Looking to buy a printer for my Mom for Xmas...

She wants something fairly simple, just black and white (she already has a color printer to use for rare situations where she needs to do color prints) since she wants something that will be fairly inexpensive to replace cartridges and such. Suggestions as to reliable models?

Hmmmm, The shipping when I do it comes to almost $300, and the coupon is only good for 3% off which comes to $40. This deal has become much colder. :( Duh stupid me, someone already posted that the coupon was only for 3%.

I'm currently running 512 MB RAMBUS 1066 in my machine at home. The BIOS recognizes 512 MB, if I go into Windoze Task Manager it recognizes 512 MB, yet for some reason when I run "msinfo32" or "winmsd" it insists that there is only 256 MB physically present. Win XP bug (which would be bug...

Windows XP Hard Drive as Slave

Should be fine. Doesn't matter what the slave thinks of the new hardware configuration, because the master drive will be running the OS, booting up, etc. The slave will simply be there holding the files, it won't be scanning hardware, etc. I've done that before plenty of times in the office...

Were you ever able to pull up the BIOS screen? You mentioned that you got a "low CMOS battery" error. Have you been able to see the BIOS recently?

Go to Radio Shack and buy a new battery for the CMOS. I had that happen with a friend's machine a few years back, he had the same problem. Video worked fine when I replaced the battery.

I just paid 1.68/gal for gas!!!! OMG!!!

I've got each and every one of you beat. Gas here in the D.C. area is $1.65/gallon, but the kicker is each and every time you step out to pump it, it could very well cost you your life.
