DO NOT I repeat DO NOT buy from BuyAIB under any circumstance. A year or so back I bought what was clearly advertised as a retail ATI Radeon 8500 and was sent a Sapphire 8500LE. When I finally got them to reply to numerous phone calls and E-Mails regarding a refund I was told that if I...
Give a listen to the Altec Lansing 621 series. Excellent sound and a good price. $118.00 shipped from
Newegg. The highs don't "whine" and the bass is super on these babies.
Never, and you shouldn't see sparks. There are definitely other problems such as a loose ground, or bent
USB connector. Is it always the same USB port?
If you mostly listen to music, why not consider a set of Altec Lansing 621 2.1's. Music is mostly stereo though this will change with DVD Audio. I have listened to DVD-Audio with these and the sound is
unreal. Great bass and mid-range and thrilling highs, and unless you really pump them, no...
Anyone out there have these speakers and do they have an earphone jack? From what I gather reading
reviews there is one on the remote, but I can't verify this on their web site. Thanks in advance.
Never buy an opened item from any store unless you get a written guarantee from the store manager that you can return it for a full refund if there are problems.
While this does not sound like purposeful bait and switch because of the open box situation, I had a similar thing happen with...
The ASUS TUSL2-C does support 512K Tualatins. I have both board and the Processor and it's a great combination. With 512 Meg of memory it makes for a solid fast system.
Have you downloaded the latest drivers for the 8500 from ATI? If so then go into control panel and select add/remove and select the current drivers to remove them. If the Windows drivers aren't listed load the ATI drivers. They should just overwrite the Windows drivers. Worked for me on an...
I dumped Norton System Works after reading horror stories in the reviews and opinions, and switched to Ontrack SystemSuite 4. It won't eat your files unless you tell it to! Read the review at www.pcmagazine.com.
Cleaned up my registry in XP getting rid of garbage I couldn't believe, checked...
I have the Canon G2 and have had excellent results with it even with 8 x 10 blow-ups. Excellent manual, simple straight forward camera controls and very good battery life even when I use the USB from the camera.
If you're still concerned about battery life get a multi card reader/writer and...
I assume you are using ZoomBrowser EX. I had the same problem with a Canon G2. I reloaded the software and where it asks which camera driver select all the choices. That's how I got it to detect.
Hope this helps and good luck.
I personally own the Canon G2. Took excellent pictures with it and didn't even read the manuals. I have since studied the manuals and used the controls on the camera and find them intuitive and user friendly.
Excellent battery life too. I would recommend this camera to novice or pro. You...
