Just run audio out from the TV using stereo RCA cables. The tv will convert the digital audio signal to analog.

I'm looking for a video card for my computer that will be connected to my HDTV. My current video card is actually onboard and only has a vga connector (Nvidia 6150).
I won't be playing any games on this computer. It will be used mostly for playing movies, internet, music (Windows Media...
You can purchase the HP recovery discs for ~$15 from HP.
I'm not sure if its just the OEM Vista CD or the acutal recovery discs (the drive image when they ship the laptop).
Do I need new ram? (Currently have 2x256MB Kingston 2700 DDR).
And how about power supply? (Currently Antec SmartPower 350W v1 not v2.0 with SATA connectors)
I didn't really wanna wait too long. I just need something decent to 1) run my games at 1024x768 - High settings with a max of 1280x1024; 2) Speed increase in my computer. This XP2500+ has been doing great - rock solid, but now its only a email, websurfing, IM computer.
Hey everyone,
I'm just trying to get some ideas on the best inexpensive upgrade path from my current system. I'm not looking for anything too expensive. My budget is $250-300.
What I currently have:
CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2500+ Barton 1833MHz
Motherboard: MSI K7N2 Delta-L nForce2 400...
So how come Dell isn't using DDR2-800 instead of DDR2-533 (other than price)? Are there any big disadvantages to using the slower memory?
I'm really considering buying the E521 instead of a custom build. Very tempting...
I was about to purchase a DVD what is encoded for playing in Region 2. Since I'm in the US, will I be able to play this DVD? If not, can I use something like DVDShrink to strip the region specific encoding, and burn the movie on a new disc so I can play it?
Why not first try Meguiar's PlastX to remove the oxidation from the headlights? You can pick it up from most automotive stores that carry the Meguiar's line of products.
#1 & #2 are basically the same thing except for #2 you're choosing the parts that you want. It would prob be cheaper to buy your external enclosure and hard drive and put everything together.
There is another option which is to get an external CD Burner or DVD Burner (depending on the amount...
I'm putting together a USB 2.0 External Enclosure and I was wondering if I will see a speed difference between if I went with a hard drive with a 2MB cache or one with an 8MB cache?
Specifically, I'm looking at either a 160GB Samsung SpinPoint 2MB Cache or 8MB Cache versions.
Thanks for...
I'm not doing any OCing and I haven't seen any file corruption as yet. I think what I might do is just change the power supply and see how that goes. I'll probably get an Antec 350W PS or something. Since I don't have a lot of hardware in my computer, a 350W should be fine.
Recently when I turn on my computer in the morning, it boots into Windows as usual and like a few seconds after the computer just turns off. Its an abrupt shutdown - it just turns off, no Start -> Turn off Computer -> Shutdown kinda thing. After it does that, I press the power button but...
I just got a Pioneer DVR-108 16x DVD Burner and I wanted to get a matching DVD-ROM drive so I can do disc to disc copies, etc. I currently have a Lite-On 16x DVD-ROM drive (LTD-163) and it kinda sux. Its pretty loud and is slow at ripping.
I was over at Newegg and I was looking at these...
Here's a link to the best media for the Pioneer DVD Burner:

You can burn Ritek G05 media at 12x.
I just ordered my Pioneer 108 with a pack of Ritek G05s. Just waiting on them to deliver it...
I'm also debating on whether to get the NEC or Pioneer. I think I'll probably get the Pioneer DVD Burner but what's up with the OEM front face and the Retail front face?? I like the retail versions front face but it ain't worth $70 extra (CompUSA has it on sale for $159 AR). I'm getting the...
I was looking at that exact same NEC drive. I'm just wondering if I should buy it now or wait 2 more months. I guess it depends on what you're going to use the drive for. I'm looking to get a DVD burner for data backup and dvd movie backups. Backing up a Full DVD movie on a Dual Layer disc...
Update:
OK, I just ran Adaware and removed all the spyware but I still have the same problem. I installed Opera web browser and it works perfectly. I can type in ex: www.cnn.com and it goes straight to the page with no delays.
With Internet Explorer, I type in www.cnn.com and it waits for...
Hey, I'm trying to fix my friends laptop. His problem is that whenever he tries to browse, he has to type in "http://" in the URL (for every page). He can not just type in for example: www.cnn.com or newegg.com; "http://" has to preceed the whole thing in the url.
How can I fix this?? Its...
