unless they revamp their current inefficient stream shaders, i dont see how the 4k series would be groundbreaking in performance. as long as the shader architecture stays the same, it doesnt matter if it's using GDDR3 or GDDR5. just my 2c.
i dont see how dual core is going to benefit much in your gaming experience. multiprocessor support in games nowadays = almost non existence. it's better to put your money in a better video card. anyway, bioshock runs fine on my rig, FX-55 2.9GHz + X1900XTX, 1280x1024 with all IQ max'ed. FPS...

i just finished mounting the HSF and cpu on the mobo, didnt even have time to power it up. guess i'll wait till after classes/work.
