They tend to have big welcome event to kick off, then events all day that you pick what to go to and finally the raffle at the end of the day (to force people to stick around)
I must be the minority here, I think these events bite. A lot of salesmanship - little substance. And evaluation...
You're absolutely correct about the liberal opposition to missiles in Europe but you're not drawing any conclusions about it - there certainly are many arguments for how those missiles helped drive down the Soviet economy though you're not making them and this wouldn't be the end-all be-all of...
Woodrow Wilson was a Progressive Liberal. He 1. brought the US into WW I, thereby turning the tide of the war to the Allies favor and 2. made the League of Nations an essential part of the Versaille treaty (though the US Senate did not ratify the treaty)
You do the research on FDR and WWII...
Truth is an objective value. Political commentary is always subjective.
Journalism is also subjective but at it's best allows the consumer to draw the conclusions themselves. As such, two free websites that allow independent minded people to draw their own conclusions. Their articles are...
Lt. Calley of the My Lai genocide was convicted of murder in a US court. Yes, the US has committed numerous atrocities but we are in a free society where by and large people are held accountable for their actions.
CompUSA's "free" USB adapter assumes the Netgear Budled $30 rebate is being used, making the net price $80 (since you can only use the rebate once). If there's something I'm missing, please post.
actually ends up cheaper doing the verizon 39.95 a month w/1st month free. total is 439.45 for the year.
29.95 for the first 5 months after free month, then 6 months as 49.95 comes to 449.45 for the year - and if you continue with the service...
everything else (rebate, giftcard) is the same.
Live in Downtown Manhattan - turnaround is usually two-three days (though I get some obscure titles probably not stocked at every hub)
Service has been excellent for me for about a year now - one disk that had problems playing (compared to appx 5 from Blockbuster over a two month period)
The...
a mic jack is mono - you'd at the very least need a stereo line-in jack (so that both r/l channels are xfered)
however, using a lil headphone cable or such rather than digital, XLR or at least standard audio cables is going to be subpar.
yet another "Flaming Hot" (aka "inflammatory") hot deal from yellow fiero.
and will you drive your yellow fiero with cute new sticker on a dirt road you cleared yourself?
I have a motherboard with an integrated GeForce graphics chip. I just want to add a PCI card to allow me to throw DVDs from my computer to my TV.
The old dual monitor card I have sucks for games and I'm not really wanting to spend $ for a good dual monitor card. Can I just find a PCI card...
Thanks - it turned out the jumper defaults and the manual were wrong. (Asus A7n266VM MB) The jumpers were set to default 100 and the manual displayed the default setting as 133. I switched it to be what the manual said would be 100, and voila, it was fine.
thanks again
did this deal with MS Money 2003 - ordered online. Called CS after the fact to see if I could get the 35 applied. Predictably, the csr declined (gave all the reasons stated above "not ciombined with other offers") so I asked her if there would be any problem with the rebate and she was...
anyone know if there's any issue with a Palomino core in the VM version of this board? The board posts with an Athlon core chip but doesn't with this Palomino. I'm guessing the Palomino is bad (no way to test for sure) but thought I'd throw out the comment for assurance.
thanks
yahoo has some kind of store template, several yahoo stores have that template look.
I ordered one of these a few weeks ago and think I would go elsewhere. the mod window looks kinda crappy. Also ordered a floppy, they sent it in a modem box with no packing, it fell out was beat to hell and...
sorry, by "standard" I do mean widespread. most DV studios write to DVD-R. I own neither but prefer products that have been in the market. From all that I've read - in DVD authoring forums at dv.com mostly - DVD-R has a larger compatibility reach, though this depends partially on the media...
it is indeed a violation of a merchant's Merchant Account agreement to charge a credit card (MC or Visa) before at least preparing the package to ship. The vendor signs a contract with a bank that then signs an agreement with Visa and Mastercard. Both of these contracts explicitly forbid...
