Sound dampening pads inside of your case, do they work?

What Watt Antec PS Should I Get?

380 or 430 should do you just fine. I have the 430 because it came with my case, but I was planning on buying the 380. I would recommend the 380 just to save yourself a couple bucks. Toms Hardware Guide recommends it and it's plenty of power for a home gaming pc.

Choosing The Right Power Supply @ Firing Squad

He would need 18.125 amps at maximum output (every component running full power on the 12v rail). This virutally never happens so you realistically need to be able to put out 80% of your max, which would be ~16 amps.

What PS do i need with my case?

My very unexpert unscientific opinion: If it's a no name 350 watt, I would upgrade to a better one. If the powersupply is by Antec, it's debateable. With a P4 2.53, ti 4200, and 3 cd/dvd dries, I'm very torn. If you have money, go for it. If not, see if it is stable, check the reviews...

How would I go about purchasing a black alienware case?

www.colorcases.com or www.gameve.com They have cases that are virtually the same. All made by a company called Chenming. From chenming, alienware and chieftec etc. customize their cases.

Need case for AMD XP2000+

Doubt you need 512 MB of ram. I would cut that down to 256. And go with the 1600+ or 1700+ XP.
