Need quick suggestions on new computer

Ok, thanks for all the advice. I found and bought a E520 yesterday w/ the following specs: E6300 2GB DDR2 Memory 250 GB SATA II HD ATI X1300 Pro video card DVD ROM and DVD/RW Got it for $700 + tax Decent deal?

Thanks for all the help so far. As for a monitor, I have a 19" UltraSharp Dell so I think I'm ok for now. What do you guys think about 7300 series of Nvidia for video card?

Wouldn't RAID be good in case one drive failed? I might be wrong but isn't RAID0 for performance and RAID1 for data security?

Quick question about playing files while downloading

That's not exactly what I want to do, I believe there is some setting that allows WMP to do that because thats the way it works on my laptop. Basically the reason I want to do this is that I am studying for my CFA exam and there are a lot of technical videos with different topics on my prep...

Thanks for all the great replies guys... I don't think I can do the LightScribe thing because I already have 4 burners and wanted to do one on each so the process moves faster. I also don't want to spend $200 on 400 Cd's so I guess the labels it is. Can anyone reccomend a label...

Thanks everyone for the great replies...Printing the labels should not be a problem since I have a hookup but the main problem will be buying the labels for the case and for the CD, can anyone suggest the best/cheapest brand. Also, what is the best "CD applicator?" I know Verbatim, Neato...

the thing is my mobo has s/pdif output so the vid card has nothing to do with this...i just want to be able to switch the inputs on the logitech control center and change it to whatever and hear tv sound...
