Bought my wife an espresso machine for Christmas, and we found that Illy is a very delicious coffee brand. Definitely our current favorite.
However, I don't drink that during the work week, so while I'm at work I'll drink whatever. Usually it's the 3-pounds-for-$10 Kirkland brand from Costco...
Yep. We eat there every Wednesday for lunch. Order online, pick up at 1230 during the middle of the lunch rush. Walk in, walk right back out with our food. It's awesome.
And I get a ton of food for $6.96. Honestly it's probably the best deal around for fast food, and I'm full most of the...
Please don't say you're a Pats fan. This is such a ridiculous statement either way, but coming from a Pats fan makes it so much worse.
I still get nervous when watching Super Bowl highlights...from February. The Jets game was in doubt until about a minute left. Yes some games have been...
The games where things go into your drink before you drink it gross me out. Everyone's gnarly hands touching the items, especially quarters. Ugh, is there anything more disgusting than coins? Anyway, when I was in college in the early-mid 90s (get off my lawn, etc.), we had what we called...
The Old Spanish Sugar Mill. Place is awesome but the lines get insane quickly (usually 1-2 hour wait during peak times) which is why we rarely go (we're about 40 minutes away). DeLeon Springs is neat, but there's not a lot to do while waiting.

The Flash is the best live-action DC anything in my opinion. It's incredible what they accomplished in 23 episodes of season 1. Season 2 has been pretty good as well, although topping S1 is a tall order.
I'm in a similar boat. Have lived in the Orlando area the last 15 years and am from the Midwest. Itching to get out West for many of the same reasons as the OP. One of the biggest for me is for my career. While I have a great job here (network engineer), if I want to take it to the next...
So a great example of why we need automated balls and strikes happened tonight. Top of the 9th, Blue Jays batting, runners on 1st and 3rd, 1 out. Ben Revere at the plate, 2-1 count. Ump completely screws Revere with just an awful strike 2 call on a ball that is WAY outside (it's the 4th pitch...
My uncle lives in Barra de Navidad in Jalisco, Mexico. Right on the Pacific coast, just a few miles NW of Manzanillo. Just got word that while he and his wife are safe, his house, shop, and vehicles are destroyed, as well as his restaurant and the hotel the restaurant is a part of. They said...
An automated system was used this year for two minor league games. Seemed to work out fine:

Obviously with this tech being new, there will be kinks, but it's a lot closer to working perfectly than you think.
The *only* human element that matters are the actual players.
The problem with trying to figure out the ump's strike zone is that it's fluid and inconsistent. All of them always are, because they're human. I'm a lifelong baseball fan (41 years and counting), and pisses me off more than...
The human element should only come from the players. It's long past time for automated balls and strikes. Home plate umps have way too much influence on the game. It shouldn't be that way.
Keep umps in the field (with replay), but the arbitrary and fluid strike zone has got to go.
Cannabis these days can be extremely potent. I've seen folks go a bit overboard which resulted in a panic attack. Like, an "I'm going to die of a heart attack right now please help me" type of panic attack. Although it can be scary in the moment, that's really all it is...just a panic attack...
Me too. Cake donuts have always been my favorite, but as I've aged, my tastes have evolved to the point where I only enjoy plain cake / old fashioned. Perfect amount of sweet for me.
Indeed you must! I've tried a few of their other flavors due to the perfection of the salted caramel one, but none of the rest come close. It is perhaps the best store-bought ice cream / gelato I've ever had.
I think the Peanut Butter Core is the best, but the salted core is pretty good. My favorite salted caramel anything currently is this:
It's absurd how delicious it is. This review sums it up well:

Had it done in November of 2000, and I still see 20/20 to this day (I wore corrective lenses from 1988 until then). The worst part for me was that my eyes were very dry for a few months. Best elective surgery ever.
Alton Brown's "Burger of the Gods" recipe is still my favorite for home cooked burgers:
http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/burger-of-the-gods-recipe.html
I love to put a layer of mayo on the bottom bun, with some cracked pepper, so when the burger is put on the bun, the juices mix...
I cannot stand that MLB has separate leagues with different rules, but fortunately for the Sox, it hasn't adversely affected them in their last three Series appearances (David Ortiz is a fine fielder, just having to sit one our good bats is dumb).
I want my pitchers to worry about one...
Minimum of two showers a day - after I work out in the morning, and then before bed. I work in an office all day and still cannot stand to sleep without showering. For me, showering before bad makes for better sleep.
On the weekends it varies between one and three showers daily, but there's...
The DH has been a part of MLB since 1973, it's LONG past time there is representation in the HoF for them. The only league nowadays that doesn't use it is the archaic National League. Besides, how can you punish DH's for "only doing one thing" when 99.9% of all hitting pitchers only do one...
Can't stand kettle cooked chips, probably because I pounded the hell out of Crunch Tators back in the early 1990s:
These are my absolute favorite chips currently, and have been for many years now:
Haha, well, apparently HBO edited that part out of their viewer's guide to show it as simply a walker now, instead of the Night's King. Well, either way, it has us all freaking out a bit, which is awesome.
Wow, how about them apples? Us book readers got some major new material...we got to see the Night's King! And the change with the Bran stuff was interesting. Seems as if the show is completely changing what's happening north of the wall. I love it.
Evidently, the director, Gareth Edwards, has said that there will be no other Toho monsters in this film, so the other kaiju are original. We shall see!
So I finally took the plunge and ordered some of these, in the LONG version (my thighs are decently big from working out (humblebrag, yes), and the regular 6" always ride up eventually). Holy crap you weren't joking. They are amazingly comfortable. I'll be replacing all of my regular cotton...
