Buying a Fujitsu C2111, should I get a 5 year warranty?

I'm about to buy the Fujitsu LifeBook c2111 from Fry's. It's $1549, and it has a $100 mail in rebate. Everything else on the laptop looks good tho. If Anyone's had any good/bad experiences w/ Fujitsu, I'd be glad to hear them. As far as the warranty, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get the 3 year...

Do Dell laptops break after 1 year (should I get the 3 year warranty?)

I'll probably keep the laptop at least 3 years, maybe 4 (read: college student), so maybe the $219 is a good investment. If I opt for the one year warranty, and it breaks in year 3, say the LCD screen, how much would I have to pay for a replacement if I wasn't under warranty? In other words...

Exactly which premium credit cards do you use? I am trying to use a Discover Platinum, would that qualify? Could anyone post a link or instructions on how to get the extra year free w/ premium credit card? Thanks!

Is it worth the extra $219 to upgrade my warranty to the 3 year Limited Warranty and 3 year On site service? I am buying an Inspiron 8200 for about 2k (with the 3 year warranty).

Laptop Warranty service comparison - which brand is the best/worst?

In terms of tech support, and how good their warranties are, which company would you say is the best, or the worst? Dell, Gateway, HP, Compaq or any others. I'm looking for good/bad experience stories and advice. Thanks, Weirdo

Are Dell laptop warranties transferable?

I am considering buying a Dell laptop from an Alex Lapurdi in Amsterdam, and he tells me that he can transfer the warranty to my name. Is this possible?

So, I should buy the minimum amount of RAM and HD space? Then where should I buy the extra RAM and HD, is it the same stuff used in desktops, pr different? How much would a 40 gig 5400 RPM HD cost separate, and what would I do with the HD that came w/ the laptop?

I'm thinking of buying an Inspiron 8200 from somebody in Holland. They don't trust Escrow, so I don't know if the deal I'm getting is worth the risk. Anybody have experience with shipping from another country?
