What BIOS comes originally with MSI NEO4 Platinum?

This was an old problem solved by a newer BIOS. I cant remember what version fixed this, but I had this problem on one of my computers with a Neo4 mobo I had and the BIOS update fixed it as it said it would. Worth a try of course.

So I splurged a bit and got an XFX 7800GT...

It might be an inbalanced fan for whatever reason and at it's highest RPM wobbles incredibly, but when it slows down due to drivers and how the card works, the wobble isnt as noticeable. I would get the card RMA'ed if you just bought it, or switch out the stock cooler if you were going to...

Has anyone purchased Seagates' 300GB HDD....?

Pack it well and/or use the seasheild container... The shell container is just as good as the antistactic bag if not better IMO. If nothing else, pack it well in a box surrounded by bubble wrap. That should do just fine. For OP: Besides, if the drive works, you have a receipt in case...

I wouldnt count on the G70 line being obsolete completely. You will find out that the card will still be a great card to own in a year or so... I dont know why everytime a new version of Windows comes out, everyone wants to panic. There really is never much to worry about. Same thing...

I have an emachine

Drop the case, get a new case, buy the new motherboard, transfer all contents of parts etc to new case, throw old case away or mod it to something cool... The End... Standard (and future upgradeable cases) are cheap. Dont limit yourself to the emachines box...

No likely going to have to wait months. The holidays are likely just straining their supply. That card has quite a bit of sales ahead of it so I am sure they will restock very soon. I wouldnt worry about it. You will likely get a replacement card within a week or so. Great card also BTW...

What is your source for that information? All rumors of various speeds have been created. I dont think a 1.8ghz memory speed would put the card in reasonable pricing models. I would guess the card tops no more than 1.5ghz but who knows. To double the memory AND increase the speed that much...

Where are you getting the monitoring though? As mentioned, you should be using a multimeter when a load has been put on the system. 10.75 is a bit low for spec. But I am guessing you are getting that from the system monitoring tools or BIOS, which if so I would question the accuracy first and...

Pagefile size for 4gb of ram?...new issue...trying to install XP32 SP2 on a dual 64-bit Xeon box

Make sure you are installing Windows XP Pro with SP2 already slipstreamed into the installation... That should get you past the 137GB limitation, or get a hold of the manufacturer's setup utility to help you through. There is just no other way around it...
