The level of the cache does not determine the speed at which it runs. For the P4EE, all the caches are running at the same frequency. It is, as another poster pointed out, on the same die. It's the latency to the cache that determines the levels. The larger the cache, the longer it takes to...
Did anyone's drive only show a 16x max burn speed? I'm using Nero 6. I can't seem to figure out why the drive doesn't have faster burn speeds. The model of the drive seems to be 52XXXX something so I think it's a 52x drive:(
I guess I wasn't quite as clear as I thought on what I was looking for. I was more interested in which route:
lower RAM(PC3500) speed/low latency(2-3-3-6)
or
faster RAM(PC4000) speerd/higher latency(2.5-4-4-7)
to go. Basically I'm not sure which is more visible on the springdale chipset...
Hey guys, I remember reading an article a couple weeks ago that investigated memory timings and fsb speeds and memory ratios on P4 systems. Does anyone remember where that was? Anyways, if not, here's my question. I'm wondering what the better route is. Should I get the Geil PC 4000 that'll...
Does anyone know how this compares to the 4500? I have a $100 credit but I don't want to use it unless this phone is significantly better than the one I have. I was thinking of waiting until the had some sale on the 8100 and using my credit than.
I actually e-mailed kingston support a while ago, and got a response yesterday that the -S is a high speed. So someone over there doesn't know what's going on:| But for $26 I'm pretty happy, it works, that's all I need.
-S Card
I don't know however that the -S refers to the speed. One of the faqs mentions that the Coolpix 5700 doesn't work with their normal cards, only the '-S' versions. Might be some sort of compatibility thing?
Coolpix 5700 question on Kingstion.com
I've tried the normal version in my...
It is interesting to note though that their website has 2 versions.
Normal version
High speed version
The high speed version can only be found by searching on a product (e.g. Coolpix 4500), at least I didn't find it through their flash card pages.
I got the normal version of the card (orange). Do you think I can call dell and get some sort of credit for a misrepresented product? I really need this card so returning it really isn't an option
Call me stupid, but the only one's i've found are one time use ones. Are there public ones available? I checked the techy deal site and chubby billfold place but no public ones:(
small biz had 20% all software/peripherals. Depending on if you get charged tax or not, it may have come out a few bucks cheaper. You could've taken the kingston card instead, there's a $20 rebate on it, and I thin it was $57.xx or so.
Thomas Distributing has the Maha Charger (not the new cool charger) bundled with 4 2000 mAH batteries for $37 + shipping or with 8 for $48 + shipping.
Edit:
They also have the bundle with 2200mAH batteries 4 for $39 + shipping and 8 for $49 + shipping
Does anyone know anything about that ubuy camera site? Are they an authorized Nikon retailer so that their price $449 - $200 MIR makes it a decent deal?
Apparently there's a supposed 20% off in software/peripherals although the price went up slightly, but bottom line is ~$30. I can't get the 20% to show up though, can anyone else? This is in small biz by the way.
Is it dead or is their site just down? I haven't been able to log into my account today and check my status(I know it's Sunday and it's still back ordered but I'm antsy so sue me:P)
There have been a lot of people buying digicams it seems like so I thought this might interest some folks. I was at Target today and they had some Motion Systems camera bags on clearance. Some were 30% off and some were 50%. I snagged a bag big enough for the camera as well as charger for...
This guy seemed to like the A70 best
Read the conclusion at the bottom
That's what made me go with the A70 overall. Every review site I read had glowing praises for both and this was the only review which talked about both and made a direct comparison.
I wouldn't unless you really need those extra features. But it all boils down to what's more important the $50 or the extra features. I figured since I'm spending $200, another $50 isn't that much more:P
