When I try to burn disc's, about 1 out of 3 times the computer locks up during the process. I have to reboot, and in turn destroy that disc. My computer is rock stable otherwise
I am running minimal background processes. I have 2600+, nvidia mobo, 768 mb ram.

Wow, I've had this problem too. I had a westell, now a motorola. I've had this issue witjh both. I am now going to look into replacing nic cards. Can anyone recommend a good one or tell me the difference besides price in a 10/100?
2600+@2800+, 768mb DDR333, 9800 pro.
I run at 1280X1024, 4XAA 8XAF, details High. I haven't checked frame rates , but it runs smooth as silk. I haven't even had a hiccup and I'm through about 2 levels. I can't believe how well it runs.
My system is not that stable and I have narrowed it down to the mobo and PS. The PS is an Antec true power 400.

Hunter, what type of modem do you have.? There is firmware in some modems thaat seems to cause any client to lock up. It does it to mine,sometimes more than others

Go to Maxtor.com and dl a copy of Maxblast I think it is. Run that app and it will tell you any errors. If it does you can type the error code in on their website. They will send you a new hard drive without picking up the phone. I like the way they have their system set up.

I've got a 9800pro and it runs good, but it keeps on crashing. I would love to play it. Those 5minutes before crashing are great. I would buy it in a minute if I will be guaranteed it won't crash on Radeons
