Man working suxored hoy! 11 people made appointments today to meet with me and only 3 shjowed up. 1 @ 10 am and the other 2 @ 6 pm. I had to sit in the office all day for nada.!? bu ummer

Played football in H.S.. Was pretty good. Never had to outrun anyone. I have pretty good rhythym. A couple of women left me and turned to lesbianism after that! I fake it too! I'm 100% Hetero #1 was more work tan fun. Dang catty women!

Problem...Win2K machine and Win98SE machine not networking right

You might need to install Directory services client on the 98 machine. DSclient allows you to interact with win2k from 98. You can down load it from Windows 2000 web site. Also is win2k formatted in NTFS? Check your permissions from the administrator account. Share level permission should be...

Which is more cost efficient: Wireless Networking Options

The new Microsoft 22 MBs wireless is good equipment. I didn't choose it because it had more than I needed. I already had alot of what comes in the package deal. Was a great deal though IMO

This is good advice. Cisco is some what time consuming and and has quite a learning curve to it. Also depends on your budget and future expansion possibilities that you might need. If it will expand to 100s of computers, later on, then a Cisco setup might be the way to go from the start. Not...

Most of the new wireless routers have ethernet also. Mine is an actiontec and it was about $125 at tigerdirect.com. It has 4 ethernet ports, 1 USB port and wireless also. Has a add on port for a wireless print server later also. It's $139 right now. Works great. Here she is

I agree with EVAD. If it was a mistake and they blame it on you later, Then it could be looked upon as Embezelment. Research it honestly, expecting to write a check then and there. Perhaps it was a gift, or you are being tested or set up. Just be honest. You'll be no worse off either way.

Creating partitions with WinXP Pro....?

The option is not available because, You are using basic disks or you only have one patition. Raid 0 has no fault tolerance. You should format raid 1 or 5. If you are using a Raid chip on the MOBO or a periph card, then it may or may not support dynamic disks, If you really want to use them...

Seriously. Do not allow that if you don't trust him already. Kick his a$$ instead. If you allow remote admin, he won't need a virus, He'll have complete access. If it's legit, tell him to come over if that's possible and log him on as admin and watch him.

Personally, I doubt that any one has set anything like a 30 ton panel for a building, except for maybe in the mountains or like the top of a mall. Pretty hard to get a crane on top of a building. But I don't know everything. I keep up on alot of industry news also, and I've never heard of it...
