This is a fairly hot deal. I picked on up. It just sucks that the black model is selling for at or almost retail nearly everywhere, while the silver body model cost $50 less at some places.

Crap, I should've clarified, that by 'contract' employee, I mean I'm an employee of a consulting firm working as part of a staff augmentation for a client, not an independent contractor. My withholdings will be held the same way as typical W2s.

No. I sent the rebate receipt that showed the $69.99 purchase price. I used the real receipt that I keep to do the PM. It's NOT that YMMV, unless you get a CC rep that looks at the final after rebate price that wants to argue with you.
