Well it appears to be affecting my Onkyo 806 after looking at the EDID info in the Registry. Also, the thread over at avforums talks about EDID not reading correctly on the 606. http://www.avforums.com/forums...ed-onkyo-tx-sr606.html
An extra sound card is handy... I'm having to run my Asus card using optical and DDL. I read in one forum that a user has HDMI working with an Onkyo AVR. He did it by using HDMI 1 (DVD) and a short cable. I'm going to move my HTPC closer to the AVR and pick up a 3 foot cable tonight, using 9...
From what I understand, ATI is not reading the EDID information from the AVR correctly... The only solution seems to be to purchase a device that reads the EDID info from the AVR and then sits inline between the Video card and the AVR. Problem with that solutions is it costs another $120.
I would find another solution. I have an Onkyo SR806 and an ATI 4650 and there are problems. The ATI card detects the receiver as being connected using DVI instead of HDMI so you get no sound. It is a known issue with ATI and Onkyo/Yamaha AVRs...
also considering that after the first 2 weeks we were at 3500 years and now we are at 1700.... We have cut that in half after only 3 months.... It will go down with more members, faster computers, and optimized cores. Also RC5-64 was at 1000 years after the first 6 months or so... RC5-64 took...
Well it turns out that my network setup at a remote site that is linked back here was fubarred... It wasn't connecting to send out for some reason so it stored like a month or two worth of blocks in the out buffer. The only real problem with that is that the in buffer was locked during that time...
The problem with that is we don't have all NT based clients... We still have 9x machines too... Also all of our labs have various forms of security that keep software from being installed permanately without disabling the security and installing the software. I'd hate to have to go to all the...
I was running Distributed.net's RC5 and lately OGR, but I don't like the direction D.net is moving in. I really would like to do something more productive and useful to the human race than prove encryptions. I was looking at Folding and Genome projects but I have a few stipulations in how it can...
They're all mine hehe.... it looks like the same thing happened tonight... I'm going to have to switch back to the distributed.net server.... I did 80000+ blocks today and only got 1000 on dnet.... Let me know when the proxy is fixed
<--Havoc--{{{
I'm hoping I can break 80,000 for one day. I just recieved 9 new P4 2.4 Ghz machines here at work and I waiting on more. 25 more to be exact. That and 7 1.8 Ghz P4 laptops. More computers woohoo... hehehe
Still I hope those 70000+ blocks count at dnet.... I'd hate to find out that I was crackin...
According to the teamanandtech proxy I submited 79000 blocks yesterday (9-10) for RC5 but according to distributed.net's page I only submited 1000... I looked at some of the others that use proxy.teamanandtech.com and they are the same way. Is it not sending the blocks to Distributed.net or...
