Hasn't skipped for me, It has a pretty big buffer, it reads half the song, then stops spinning, and read when it needs to. I only see the cd spinning maybe 2-3times per song as max. saves lots of battery too. Although the only thing missing for me is a belt clip or strap :(

Imations suckz I got the 100 pack from officemax for $30 it suckz I only used 20 cds and I have 5-6 coasters already, they suck bad. and it's the green cds looks like those cheap generic cds. Made in taiwan printed on the spindle it suckz don't buy it.
damn I should get one then, the genica I got off easybuy2000.com only last two hours. and that's with my NiMH battery. Oh Duracell or Energizer it only last 1.5 hours. I think I got ripped off, I carry like 6 batteries with me all the time. Thank god for Rechargables.
