Secondly - not all of us live in the states you know - anyone looking hard enough will find both E7205 and SIS655 board in European webshops. Well thats apparently not true for central europe. Still no G8INXP and of course SINXP around here. Glad i bought the P4PE!

After booting up it takes forever till programs start!

Thanks a lot for the answers guys! I reinstalled windows and now everything works. I was just wondering if that was a common problem, because it happened on 2 computers... And yes my CPU load was at 100% and that because some strange idle process was running and that one took 100%, very strange..

Granite bay: Good, bad, or wait?

Do you really need the Firewire support? If not I would suggest the GA-8INXP, its a bit better than the P4G8X from what I have read. Might want to look into it. GB is the imho the best P4 mobo atm and I would not wait for springdale, it will still be a while till it arrives and people are not...

Since you allready got your memory at home I dont think there is any question wether to buy GB or RDRAM...speed is almost the same. AND besides RDRAM has been officially discontinued by Intel, so...thats any easy choice, for once )
