I'm in the market for a laptop computer that will also show DVD's to the kids in the car for long trips. We will be driving an F150 supercab, so I need one that can be viewed from about a horizontal 45-60 degree angle.
Will this handle those requirements?

I think I'll go hunting for some deers, then shear me some sheeps, and make some pillows from the down of gooses. The people who wrote this ad must be alumnuses of a great university.
EDIT: I did a search on mouses and found that officemax uses it too, at...
Cary, NC has them, but you have to go over by the "installation" area to find them. Shelf tag was identical to the one posted here. Drive rings up for $114, but the cashier adjusted with NO hassle.
Thanks duuuma!
TaxAct Standard is free (as is TaxActOnline). Filing is only $7.95 each (Fed and State). For $16 you can e-file both returns.
However, let's hope that free e-filing according to THIS PLAN happens soon.
My 1988 TV is working just fine. I don't see much of a point in buying a new one until the old one quits. My two 1993 autos run, and I repair them when they don't. My 1998 computer works fine too. I have had to buy three camcorders since 1993, so that irks me. I suppose it's people like me...
Just picked up a copy. I bought Studio 7 Deluxe just before v.8 came out, so it's good to get my hands on this one without having to pay the $60 upgrade fee. I like v.7, but I use TMPGENC to make XSVCD's and NERO to burn, so we'll see much better this one is than 7.
If you can get TT for less than $10, with free e-filing, that's great. But, I used www.taxactonline.com last year and got printed returns for free and e-filed them for $8 bucks each...no rebates, no hassles.
The IRS is accepting free e-filing this soon, but I don't know the details. Maybe...
I've got V7, and from the user forums, the difference is that you don't need Express to write to DVD/CD any more, and the MPEG2 encoder was allegedly improved. From the sample I saw, it's still nowhere as good as TMPGENC for making MPEG2 video.
For making a decently edited video with...

The Cary, NC BestBuy has this case for $49.50, but I passed because it looks like it's got the old style "push in just right and pull forward to close it" side panel. I ended up buying the SX835II from EMS on Tuesday after giving up on a "hot deal". It's already at my Raleigh...
