If you were going to spend the money to build something yourself, wouldn't you get something better? And you not only need the speakers, but you would need crossovers, wires, and some sort of amp.

I burn the riteks at 2x for my PS2 games, and they work great. Of course this is on a V5(which has the best laser) but haven't had one coaster.

*Dead* New Sony DVD burner (DRU500A) $253.06 shipped at DELL

My dad just got one of these drives about a week ago. His birthday is coming up and he asked if I could get him some writable media for the drive. Now I've read that this drive is having problems writing to certain formats. Has anyone been able to write at 4x? Has it worked in your dvd player...

This is great for any old computers you want to upgrade. I've been building my sis a computer, and picked up two sticks for $20. I'm not sure if it's in any other fry's, but you can always check. Edit: Just checked the Fry's paper again and it says offer good from 9/15-9/17, sorry =(

leadtek 2000xp deluxe at newegg for price of the non-deluxe

I just got my card today. Its a pretty nice card... only problem is I only have a Mic In, and no Line in on my soundcard, so the volume control on the remote doesn't work. Is there any way for me to change it? Also the mic in produces a buzzzing sound =( Edit: Fixed, everything works great.

Well I just went ahead and ordered one... I hope they arrive soon because I am supposed to give my monitor to my sis. According to others on here they ship and arrive within a week. I'll let you guys know how it comes.
