2.8ghz @ 2.8 overheating

Also keep in the mind that the ABIT's are notorious for misreporting the actual CPU temps, it's usually around a 4:5 ratio of actual to reported temps in my experience...

Make sure you have the newest bios, I had a similar problem that was solved by using the 16 bios...

I personally have my doubts the response is 14ms because that is a very untypical (read: not 16, 20, 24, 25, etc) time for a combined lcd response time. Perhaps the review was quoting just the rise or fall time. If it turns out it really is 14ms, combined with the dvi and analog inputs, it is a...

Deadparrot, FWIW I've tested the IS7 and the IC7-G and they do report higher than actual temperatures (based on what the bios reports versus a 'third-party' temperature probe. It's usually around the magnitude of a 5:4 ratio of reported (bios) to actual (probe) temperature.

Assuming your mainboard can take advantage of this ram (higher ddr voltages, i865/i875 chipset, etc) we found this to be pretty capable memory. Mild/Hot.

Is It Safe to Run Vcore at 1.95?? with Good Temps?

Yes. Even with his good temperatures that would be the case. Back down to about 1.6 to 1.8.
