Sorry to report, it's not as fast as MX700. Logitech is focusing on the digital hub aspect for this one, but not a replacement for MX700. Fast RF technology is still the fastest so far. Only new Bluetooth standard can speed mice up...
Exactly. Don't expect too much out of it. It won't perform as fast as MX700, but the new Bluetooth hub makes it that much easier to communicate with other Bluetooth devices (if you have any). Not a replacement of MX700, but rather filling market segment.

After you finished every test and can't find a dead pixel, yours is probably ok.
After a LONG wait mine finally came. It's bright, way brighter than my sony E200 and even G400. There was one dead pixel in green, but it became alive after a while :0 ... No rotation pivot on this one... well... ClearType works bad when rotated anyways... thumbs up for this nice display!
Silver, of course. The silver one looks like this. :) And many cool doesktop peripherals are using the silver/black scheme. Can't imaging how good my desktop will look like with Logitech Elite keyboard + MX700 + 1900FP... yummm :D

This LCD display looks pretty cool, but how does it perform? Any dead pixels? How's the response time in real life?
Oh... and the 1280x1024 resolution isn't 4:3 ... will this have any effect on the geometory of the images?
Yes, NFS4. I too hated the battery life of the older Logitech cordless mice. However, this one does come with a rapid charge station, and your battery won't run out again!
