Harry Potter and the Socerer's Stone DVD $8.97 (5/28 - 5/30)

Well the main thing is that it's in the theatrical OAR (Original Aspect Ratio), though there has been some debate about Potter since it was shot in Super 35 and the fullscreen transfer is a little more favorable for it. Feature-wise it's identical I believe.

Windows Explorer Issue after installing IE6

Strange occurance here, after installing IE6 on a Windows2K SP2 machine the left side of my folder view in windows explorer is greyed out. Kinda wierd, not sure what;s going on. There's a screenshot of the problem below. Screenshot

Croton: I just walked into a Toys R' Us and picked one up yesterday for $99. Guy said come back after Wednesday with a BB, Target or Walmart ad and he would refund the $10.

Guy I called said BB release was 06/13 unfortunately.. I found one at a Toys R Us and they are holding it for me, but it's Artic.. choices choices.. Wait for 2 hours on Wednesday in the line or just get the Artic now :D

Not as exciting as game 1 thus far but very competative nonetheless. Shaq played pretty well but as people mentioned he seems a little tired... wonder if AI will heat up in the 2nd half...

Count me in, I am openly not a Sixers fan but I like to see them give it 200% and come up with a win like they did in Game 1. I just admire their effort that's all.

Yeah baby, awesome game.. Sixers played amazingly well. However, being a little realistic - it's gonna be really tough to take the Lakers out in a 7 game series.. hope they do though! :D

The 2800 does indeed look good, just make sure you get one of the newer ones as early units had defective power supplies/combing problems that have now been fixed. Oh, and the JVC is also a decent performer. Video-wise the quality is pretty good, with the audio section not fairing so well in...

Poll: What resolution do you use in 3D games? (with poll)

Back in the old days 640x480 for Quake/QW all the way. Found it hard to adjust to the new resolutions, but with the power out there why not play in all the glory :). These days its 1024x768x32 for me.

Progressive Scan DVD Suggestions?

Well I have a Toshiba SD-6200 in my rig and it performs very nicely. Amongst the top tier of players out there (well if you don't count the $3,500 Camelot Roundtable) it would be between that and the Sony 9000ES which is a little pricier but does include SACD as well as excellent CD playback...
