BH6 1.0.. do I need to upgrade BIOS to support a Celeron 566?

My 300a wont do 450 anymore so I'm looking to upgrade to a Celeron 566 that'll do 850. Do I need to upgrade my BIOS and if so to what. I'm using a BH6 1.0 w/ the original BIOS. Thanks Justin

Primary and secondary DNS not being saved.. must put them in every reboot. Fix?

The title basically explains it all.. On my Grandma's computer, she has to put in the primary and secondary dns ip's in the dial up connection properties every time she reboots. Does anyone know what might be causing this? She uses 98se I believe. A little history... she's been through 3...

Monitor wont switch resolutions, hangs at "amber" stage..

I don't know what the deal is here, but my monitor will not change resolutions. I can't play games or even change my resolution via the Control Panel. The LED goes to amber and stays that way until you either Alt+Tab out of the game, or wait the 15 seconds or whatever it is that Windows makes...

I just reformatted/reinstalled and after installing the latest V3 3000 drivers ( not BETA ), I am unable to use any resolution other than 640x480. I've tried pulling it from device manager, reinstalling the drivers etc but can't get it to work right. Any ideas? System is a 300a@450 / BH6 / Dx8a.

Dell Dimension BIOS.. masked by a huge Dell logo.. any way to get rid of it?

Windows 2000 Pro doesn't automatically turn off my computer, and neither does my power button..WTF?

Got it! The "NT APM/Legacy Support" was disabled for whatever reason. All I had to do was enable it. I probably should update my BIOS as well though.. using GY from 10/22/98! :o Anyway, thanks for all the suggestions, all is well.
