cpu cooling question

the 50 degrees is running at partial load (very light stuff). i have one case fan blowing in and one blowing out, and my case temp is very cool-- usually in the 20/30s. the CPU fan is blowing onto the HS. I'm thinking that I might have to replace the fan, because i got a vantec stealth fan...

cpu cooling question

i am running an athlon xp 2000+ with a thermalright sk-6... and my cpu temperature is running around 50 degrees. is this normal? it seems quite hot so please give me suggestions on how i might be able to reduce temp. thanks in advance

Badass! Guy stuffs nforce/athlon xp1700 into a VCR casing for a HTPC

that is possibly one of the coolest things i've ever seen... it's especially cool how he got the dvd slot to match with the tape insert slot and got the lcd functional... makes it so the vcr case isn't just a box to hold all the hardware :D:cool:

seems like a cold deal to me... i just picked up a msi GF4 TI4200 64MB DDR for 135 at newegg, and unless the memory really makes a huge difference, it's a better card than the Rad9000

CPU HSF for XP 2000 in EPoX 8K3A mobo?

I'm putting together a new system-- have already snagged the mobo off Ebay (for 60 bucks) and will be ordering other components soon... I'm planning to overclock the cpu to death so I wanted a good quiet HSF that will fit in my mobo and not break the bank... Advice/Comments???
