    New SETI gauntlet Sept 25-Oct16

I'm good to go now, I was able to retrieve my account number from an old work machine that had been retired. First thing I did was to update my email and password on my seti account once I got logged into it.

    New SETI gauntlet Sept 25-Oct16

Darn, I just wondered back into the TA forums (been gone for at least couple of years) and I can't remember my seti login info. I guess I could start a new account and join the gauntlet also.

    DPAD Daily Stats 01-03-07

By this evening I should be up to around 22 cpu's running Dpad. some are P4's..a few AMD XP's and semprons, a couple of conroe based systems, and a couple of P4D systems. I would have switched them earlier if I would have had the time.

    DPAD Daily Stats 01-03-07

Maybe I added my 12 to 15 cpu's a little too late.....like this morning. Well, they may get #2....but the question is how long will they keep it.;)

Team Anadtech needs more crunchers for DPAD!

I tried it with trend micro...no problems. The avast anti-virus on my secondary machine claimed it found a trojan with the aforementioned file.

    Rosetta@Home - 02/21: Stats & milestones

Thanks for the reminder BMC, it's been awhile since I ran a boinc project....just checked and I was set for less than 1 day. Upped it to 4 days...that should insure some breathing room for me :)

    I'm Back

Great to see you back here again, it's been awhile :) Hehe, never could forget one of the first TA members that welcomed me to the seti team way back when. Real life got in my way for a few months, but I just fired up a few crunchers for TA on Rosetta myself.

To all TeAm mates - Rosetta@Home needs you in the next two weeks!!!

Found the parts for 2 more Xp2500 crunchers in the spare parts box, and while checking the spare parts also discovered two P4 2.8HT rigs turned off in the basement. Seems mother nature knocked out the electric during a storm yesterday and the better half reset the time on the microwave so I...

    Rosetta@Home - 07/12: Stats

@Freewolf ... Good to be back. I had a nice extended break from crunching, but after a while I missed it. When I found out about Rosetta I knew what project AND team I would be crunching for.:)

    Rosetta@Home - 07/14: Stats

Thanks BMC :) Added a P4 2.4 rig tonight. I forgot I had burried that cruncher in a closet when I finished running seti classic. (and decided to give up crunching.......ah...right ;))

To all TeAm mates - Rosetta@Home needs you in the next two weeks!!!

I just ordered a new motherboard and cpu combo to replace a cruncher that died. It should be here monday :) I'll see what parts I have in the spare parts box...never know, might be able to bring a couple more on line also.

    Rosetta@Home - 07/12: Stats

After being away for several months I got the crunching bug again but I just didn't feel like running seti right now and thought I'd give Rosetta a try. //me waves back to Smoke and Crazee//

Folding@Home Holiday Season Race: TAS vs Folders

You kind of have the same thing at the end of the race, there will be machines that dump out a work unit just a short while after the race ends. The main thing is to get people crunching, and maybe add a few more machines for the race. In the end the project wins so I don't have any problem no...

Folding@Home Holiday Season Race: TAS vs Folders

I started up folding on my machines this morning :) I don't know my daily output yet, it's been a while since I last ran the program, and since I changed jobs my work fleet is gone now :(. Should be able to guesstimate output in a few days.

Folding@Home Holiday Season Race: TAS vs Folders

I've been inactive for a while now, but it's getting chilly in the old computer room and it's time to fire up a cruncher or three for some extra heat :D

OT - 3.4GHz of DC Crunching Power F/S

Hmmm, ok I'll load it up on a couple of systems and give it a try. Sorry to have hijacked you thread a little BadThad. I think I saw 2039 was the team number.

OT - 3.4GHz of DC Crunching Power F/S

Rats, don't have a board that will support that processor, however, I do have several idle machines at the moment and I've been thinking about running something besides seti on them. If FAD is stable enough I may give it a try.

    SETIQueue Problem

I had that problem once, somehow "new user consolidate" got turned on. The queue had been running for ages and just suddenly decided to change by itself.

    Seti Queue Died

Radio shack won't have the caps, I get mine from a local electronic parts distributor. MCM also sells them online (mcmelectronics.com) let me know the value and voltage on your caps and I can give you the part numbers from their catalog. Their website is a little hard to find things on sometimes.

    Seti Queue Died

I had my Epox 8K7A do the same thing several months ago. I had new capacitors on hand so I replaced them all. Still running my personal setiqueue on it today :) If I wasn't so cheap I would have replaced the board and saved my self the trouble of changing them.
